"Sylvan" means, of the forest, and that certainly suits this little bear. She once confided to me, that athough she loves me and her other human friends dearly, her happiest times are when she sneaks outside and spends the entire night frolicking in the woods.
Sylvan is a one-of-a-kind original. She is 14 1/2" tall and has five joints for poseability. Her fur is curly white imported mohair. She is stuffed with polyfil, and has glass beads in her belly and feet for a good weight. She has glass eyes and a perle cotton nose and mouth. I lightly waxed her nose; and I airbrushed shading around her eyes, ears, and nose. To create her very unique paws, I painted the paws onto the fabric, then brushed hot wax over them, and to finish polished them to a shine!
